Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding born on December 30, 1986, in Hereford, England) is an English artist and singer. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 with the catchy electro-pop tracks "Starry Eyed" and Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding stands at the cutting edge of the movement, just like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap of popular contemporary music as well as independent artistic pop. Her soprano and her ability to write emotionally authentic songs are what make her distinct. Polydor Records offered her a deal as major label. She started to plan for her release.
