Lis Wiehl is an American journalist and legal analyst who previously worked as the Fox News analyst.
She currently serves as an adjunct law professor at New York Law School. Prior to that, she worked as an associate professor of University of Washington Law School. She has offered legal commentary on the National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio program, The Radio Factor. She's appeared in The O'Reilly Factor and Your World With Neil Cavuto. Wiehl was a graduate of West Valley High School, Yakima. She was born in Yakima. She received her degree from Barnard College with a Bachelor's Degree from 1983. In 1985, she was awarded her master of Arts degree in Literature at the University of Queensland. And in 1987 she was awarded a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl worked as the US attorney. She also worked as an NPR legal correspondent. She was principal investigating counsel to the Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee, during the impeachment of Clinton. She worked as a professor of law and an appointment at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle from 1995 until 2001. From 2001 to 2017, Wiehl was an attorney analyst at Fox News.
