Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast who was born on March 14, 1997 in Ohio, Columbus. She is considered by many to be one of the most outstanding athletes. Biles was the first female gymnast from America to ever win four gold medals in the same Games. At Rio de Janeiro, she also became the first woman to win consecutive World All-Around titles. Biles was raised within Spring Texas, in the Houston metro area. Biles and her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone started to develop an interest in gymnastics as when she was six years old in a school field trip at Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach over the next eleven years. Biles won a gold medal for vaulting, as well as a gold medal on the floor at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. The year 2011 saw her begin playing in elite levels of gymnastics competition. Within less than two years, she had become the best in her sport. Biles's consistency, her exuberant character and her high level of effort for her four eventsvault uneven bars, balance beam floor workout and floor exercise -- set her above the others.
